Hello! I am Geets and I am the artist behind Geets Creations. I create unique and personalised artwork to capture special moments with your loved ones.

 

My aim is to provide you and your guests with a memorable way to cherish your wedding day. Each masterpiece is carefully crafted by me to ensure that it perfectly captures the essence of you and your special day.

 

I have painted ever since I was a kid but being of Indian descent, it was always a hobby and I never thought I could be an artist full-time. So I completed a Bachelor of Commerce and went on to work in corporate for many years.

Whilst working a 9-5 job, painting was always a great way for me to unwind. During Covid, I started painting more often and really started wondering what was stopping me from pursuing art, full time. So this year I took a gap year to focus solely on my art. I travelled to Florence to study traditional methods and completed two courses from the renowned Florence Academy of Art and Charles H.Cecil studios.

When I came back to Melbourne, I was creating art for friends and family when someone reached out to me and asked if I could do guest sketches at their wedding. Admittedly, I had never heard of it before so I looked into it and in that process, fell in love with the art that was happening in the wedding space. I always knew that I needed to make art with meaning and purpose to excite me and wedding painting/sketching was exactly that!

I absolutely can't imagine that there is anything more inspiring to an artist than creating in the midst of such pure love and celebration. I am so excited and humbled to be able to offer my skills and preserve one of your best memories on canvas.
